Budget Income vs. Expense

The Budget Income vs. Expense tab on the Financial menu displays a line graph comparing monthly budgeted income and budgeted expense values. The graph is supported by a table that details the Budget Income, Budget Expense, and Budget Net Income by month. Data is retrieved from the SKYLINE database and can be displayed for prior years that contain budgeted values.

NOTE  Use the Prompt section to define what data you want to see, starting with the Property for which you want to display information and then selecting a year.

This tab displays both graphical and tabular information.

Line Graph

Displays the Budget Income and Budget Expense as separate lines, monthly for the selected year. The graph includes one property and one year.

The Prompt section includes a Show Tool Bars checkbox. If it is selected you have two options listed directly under the line graph:

Supporting Information Table

The table displayed under the line graph lists the monthly Budget Income, Budget Expense, and Net Income for the Property and Year selected in the Prompt section.

Prompt Section

The Prompt button is available at the top of the screen to help you group and filter the data presented. Use the multiple selection criteria fields to isolate and customize the information that is most important to you.

NOTE  To keep the Prompt section in view, click the push pin icon in the far right section of the screen. When this control is not in place, the prompt section hides from view to give you a larger graphical display area.
