Each user can create their own Portal view. The My Portal tab is the user's “home” page to customize as they like. Customize by selecting preferred views from any of the other Portal tabs.
For instance, if you want to keep and eye on your Alerts you can click the + icon on the Alerts tab to copy this view to the My Portal tab so it is always available on the home screen.
Consolidate all of your favorite views this way and design the My Portal tab for your unique requirements.
