General Information Tab

Use this page as a Site Administrator primarily to change the default SKYLINE database name and path and define where images for each portal are stored.

Field Definitions

Click Save at the bottom of the screen to save your changes to the various screen sections.

Logo Area

Change the image displayed in the Logo Area by clicking Add new link and browsing for the image you want in this space (approx 130w x 90h). The logo displays in the upper left-hand corner of the Portal . You can also click Undo to cancel this change.

Portal Website Header

Enter the heading you want to display for Portal users.

Default SKYLINE Data Path

Enter:

Owner Portal

Click the check mark to save and continue. For an existing record click the pencil shortcut to edit or the red 'x' to delete.

Select Portals List

Click the field to drop-down  list of all Portals that are part of the SKYLINE Portal. Select the check box for the Portals you want to include as options on the initial login screen's Select Portal field. For instance, if you don't use the Broker Portal you can exclude it from the types of users that can login.

NOTE   Site Admin must always be a user type so you are not allowed to remove this type from the list.

Select Default Portal

Click the field to display a list of all Portals that are port of the SKYLINE Portal. Click on the specific portal that you want to display as the first user type in the Login screen's Select Portal field.

Select Front Desk Tiles List

Click the down arrow to display all available tiles, such as Occupants and Insurance. Select one or more tiles to display on the Front Desk Portal.

Site Images Directories List

Use this table to add and manage the directories where images are stored.

  1. Click Add New Record or click the Edit icon for a specific record.

  2. Select a virtual directory Type: Occupant Image, Unit Image, Property Image.

  3. If this is a Virtual Directory, select the check box and provide the Directory Name you created to store these images. Virtual Directories must be created ahead of time using IIS.

  4. Enter the Setup Path, such as ~\SiteImages\Occupants.

  5. Select the SKYLINE Database Name. The field defaults to the SKYLINE Database but there may be other options if Alternate Databases have been defined and setup on the User Database tab.

  6. Click the check mark to save your entry.

WebSite Skin Tab

You can also modify the Portal web site presentation by adding your own Logo image and modifying the Skin applied to charts and grids displayed within the Portal. Skins are applied to web sites to give them a customized look and feel.

Select the various Skin types based what is available for your environment. Also make general selections such as where to apply the Forms Decorator Skin and how the Grid Lines are formatted. Click Save to update the site.
