The Archived Reports tab on the main menu displays a tab for each type of archived report:
PM Archived Reports
Prospect Management Archived Reports
AP Archived Reports
GL Archived Reports
NOTE You can also access PM Archived Reports from the Property Detail level.
Archived reports are very useful because they save the parameters used to generate the SKYLINE report. So you can retrieve a report for a specific date without re-entering the parameters.
In order to see reports on the Archived Reports tab you must perform two tasks in SKYLINE:
Archive the report. When previewing a report in SKYLINE, click the Archive Options button in the upper right corner of the preview screen. This saves a copy of the report, and report parameters, so it can be retrieved and viewed later using the Archived Report Viewer (on each SKYLINE tab).
Publish the report. Open the Publish Reports to SKYLINE Portal in the SKYLINE, Setup tab. Each archived report is listed by module (PM, GL, AP). Click the checkbox next to the report you want to publish and click Publish Selected Reports
Each Archived Reports tab follows the same table layout and only the content differs. For instance, the PM Archived Reports table contains only Property Management reports that were archived in the SKYLINE PM menu.
Click any Report Name to display the archived report using the file format it was saved in, such as Adobe (PDF) or MS Excel (XLS).
NOTE You can only view reports if the Portal Administrator has assigned access rights for this tab.
Property Number - The property included in the archived report.
Report Date - The date the report was generated and saved in SKYLINE.
File Date - The date the report was last opened and viewed.
File Type - When a report is generated, SKYLINE offers the option to save (archive) it using several different formats. When viewing the report from the Portal, the program associated with this file format is used to display the report.
Report Name - The SKYLINE report name. Click to display the archived report.
Notes - Notes entered at the time the report was archived in SKYLINE to describe the report contents.
The table includes a toolbar with multiple options to export and print, plus additional controls to manipulate the table. For instance, you can export data to MS Excel or PDF format.
Each column can be sorted and filtered in a variety of ways. The Archived Reports toolbar includes a control to view or hide the filters. The filters fields display above the top row of data (one for each column) and each include a drop-down list of filtering options.
For instance, if you enter property number and select 'EqualTo' from the drop-down list in the Property Number column, the display changes to include only documents associated with that specific property.
