Use the Action Shortcuts available on most table-style screens to export the data using various formats, print the table, show/hide the Filter fields, modify the layout, and more.
This is a sample of some shortcuts:
The following list describes all the available shortcuts (all screens do not include all shortcuts).
Layout
Determine whether you want to change the default view. Click Save as Default and the settings are saved per user.
Show or Hide Paging – If this is set to False, all records display on one page. It also forces the Paging Toolbar to be hidden, even if that field is set to True.
Show or Hide the Paging Toolbar – If this is set to True, the Paging Toolbar at the bottom of the grid is visible no matter how many records are selected to display per page. If it is False, the Paging Toolbar is only visible if the record count per page results in multiple pages to navigate.
Show or Hide the Grid Toolbar – If this is set to True the toolbar at the top of the grid displays.
Select the Page Size – To determine how many records display per page.
Export to Microsoft Word, Excel, CSV, and PDF
This selection is available for tables and grids only, to export data to various external formats for further customization and analysis.
Print
Print this display.
Hide Filters
Grid and table displays can include a row of fields that are used to filter the data in the display. Use this control to hide that row of filter fields.
Show/Hide Paging
Use this grid icon to either display all records on one screen (no paging) or display a certain number of records per page, which may result in several pages of data. Page navigation, and the control to determine how many records to display per page, are located at the bottom of the grid.
